# [Linux only] Switching from Wayland to X.org

${color}[#676767](**When starting Drovio app v3.5.3 and earlier on Linux, you may be prompted with the following message:**)

Wayland is supported as of Drovio app v3.6.0. Please update the app to the [latest version](https://help.drovio.com/en/article/check-install-updates-1uey8rt/).

If your system is old and doesn't [meet the requirements](https://help.drovio.com/en/article/system-requirements-for-drovio-x78uxt/) of the latest Drovio app version, here's how you can switch to X11:

1. Logout from your current session to reach the display manager screen
2. Click on the button dedicated to choosing the session type (generally a cog)
3. Select the 'on Xorg' variant of your desktop environment 
4. Login
5. Start Drovio to check that the warning message is not showing anymore
