My audio is not working, what do I do?
If your audio is not working we recommend you to check the following points.
📢 My microphone isn't working
- Did you try changing the current input audio device from Drovio preferences (audio tab)?
- Do you see any activity on the sound input bars?
- Did you check the correct audio device is set as default in your Operating System audio preferences?
- macOS ONLY Since macOS 10.14+, Drovio requires microphone permission. Was this set? You can check that in System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> Privacy tab -> Microphone section, Drovio.app should appear checked in the shown list
🔇 I don't hear my pairing partners
- First, try changing the current output audio device from Drovio preferences (audio tab), to see if another device might be working.
- Then, check the correct audio device is set as default in your Operating System audio preferences?
🎧 I see an "Audio error" message
When you see as message pop up, simply go to your computer to check the sound preferences for your audio device:
- Is the default sampling rate too high? It should be 96 kHz maximum
- Is the audio in stereo?
